A special weekend of community events and opportunities to hear stories of faith with Bishop Rachel and a team of Curates.

The weekend will include the following:-
Jazz Night at Whittington Church with local band ‘Stolen Chocolates’

Bishop Rachel giving a talk entitled ‘Liedentity’ about body image and issues of social media at Shipton Reading Room at 2pm
The Bishop of Gloucester the Rt Revd Rachel Treweek will be speaking about her work with young people focused on the issue of value rooted in appearance, and how low self-esteem is being fuelled by the pressures of social media to look a certain way.
The talk will be followed by a Question and Answer session.
5pm Wine Tasting event at Salperton Shoot Barn

Guest speaker: The Bishop of Gloucester
Come and enjoy an afternoon walk from Hawling to Brockhampton where you can enjoy tea and cake (if you want to!). Meet at Hawling Church where you can leave your car, car drivers will be transported back to Hawling Church. The walk will take about 90 minutes.
2pm Leisurely Walk from Hawling to Brockhampton
Dogs on leads welcome on the walk but are not allowed in the memorial hall or transfer cars. The Bishop of Gloucester will walk with us. If bad weather then check first on 07973 620279.
3.30pm Tea and Cake at Brockhampton Village Hall
Come and enjoy tea and cakes by Georgina Oldham and hear the Revd Sarah Todd talk about her faith journey. There is no charge for this event.
6pm Community Songs of Praise at Withington
